Extra, Tasty, Crispy

Happy Sunday Evening, dear readers. I hope you all have had a nice weekend. I have been busy for most of mine but am feeling good none the less. The weekend actually got away from me a little and by the time dinner time rolled around, I was pretty tired. I had already planned to have omelets one night this week but moved them up to tonight since I was just tired and ready to eat.

The omelets are filled with wilted spinach, artichoke hearts and a little goat cheese. The got a little extra brown but they still tasted delicious. I always say to the dear husband ” I hope you don’t mind extra, tasty, crispy”. He never minds. I think he would eat almost anything you put in front of him.

We have a movie we picked up from the library on the agenda for the evening and hopefully, hitting the hay pretty early. Back to the grind tomorrow so I need to rest up!

Is your spouse or partner a picky eater? Will they eat whatever is in front of them?

My husband is not picky at all! He NEVER minds when the food I make a little extra crispy, which is a blessing because it happens a bit too often! ;)

Oh dear! My least favorite thing in the world (I don’t like the word hate but this comes pretty close) is crispy egg. I love omelets though! My boyfriend will eat anything! Pretty amazing actually!

No significant other so no comment on that. But – hope your evening goes well. What movie did you pick up? I’ve got Ice Age here – haha – whatever, it’s funny ;)

We actually ended up not watching it because it took us longer to clean the kitchen than expected but we got “The Upside of Anger”.

I am lucky in that my SO will eat just about anything I make without much complaint. He has survived a number of burnt dinners and mishaps like my accidental doubling of the salt once. Kids on the other hand are a different story…

I love that you throw “tasty” in between “extra, crispy.” That way, the expectation is set that it WILL be tasty!

T isn’t a picky eater at all… I’m not exactly a gourmet chef, and he never complains! He’s probably a better, more patient cook than I am. :)

Mmm, we really are on the same wavelength!! Love your spinach and artichoke omelet additions as well!!
What movie did you get?
Thankfully, Daniel isn’t picky in the least bit. So basically I have carte blanche to make whatever I’m craving and know he’ll be fine with it! Ha!
Have a wonderful evening!

I love your omelet ingredients!

My hubby eats almost anything in front of him, though he doesn’t always love my healthy experiments. He’s typically a good sport, though. :)

My husband isn’t a picky eater by most people’s definition, but he would never eat most of the things I eat when I’m only making something for me. He has branched out into vegetables more over the years and will happily eat roasted brussels sprouts or grilled asparagus, but any type of squash? Nope.

My spouse is NOT a picky eater! Thank the heavens! We both will eat pretty much whatever is in front of them. Which is important cause we both are so busy!
