Anyone else crazy glad it is Friday night? This week felt like the longest week in history. Things have been relatively slow at my work since there is no golf with a foot of snowing that won’t seem to melt on the ground. Makes the work days seem to drag by. Remind me of that when it is May and I am pulling my hair out, ok?
Speaking of dancing, well, in the title anyway, I’ve been thinking about all of your comments on my post about my lack of exercise lately and think you guys are right. I am going through a bit of a healing crisis right now and I have to get through that but I also know that I will feel better if I can just move a little. But, I also think a change of scenery might be nice as well. Like, maybe I should try to get back to the gym or give running a go again or heck, just getting out for a walk would be nice. I love yoga and I love doing dvd’s and walking but those things will always be there. I think I might need something else to get me going again. So, as always everyone, thank you so much for your awesome comments!
Now, onto the Friday night action, no, not that kind of action. I’m talking about dinner

Dinner was bean burgers (minus the red pepper) that I pulled from the freezer

along side a healthy portion of roasted cauliflower and carrots.

There was also a little ketchup on the side for dipping.

On the agenda for the evening isn’t much since it is so late already. I’ll probably stay up late enough to watch Grey’s Anatomy on the DVR but that’s it
Any big plans for the weekend?
We are headed to NC for the day tomorrow to celebrate my Mom’s birthday and then the usual on Sunday. Laundry, groceries, food prep.

I am excited to say that we don’t have any big plans for the weekend, maybe a good run and some yoga but that’s about it. For me this was the shortest week because I had off from teaching, so next will is sure to be long. Have a wonderful weekend! ps your bean burgers look amazing!

I love weekends like that!
that’s funny cuz my week flew by. but then, i’m completely discombobulated from my kids being off from school due to the snow two days last week, then having off friday and monday as well for presidents weekend. usually one day off is enough to put me completely off kilter. today felt like that movie “groundhogs day” to me. : )
have fun with your mom tomorrow! it is one of our usual weekends filled with girl scouts for my daughter and soccer for my son.
i think i’ll be trying those bean burgers soon…i bought some beans at WF yesterday and am itching for some new recipes

If you try them, let me know how you like them!
How cute that you put the ketchup in it’s own separate container.
I was thinking… maybe you need a workout buddy that makes it more fun to get moving and keeps you accountable?

My husband and I were actually talking about this last week. He is a long distance runner and the really cold winter we have had has kept him off the roads so we are thinking about meeting up at the gym a couple nights a week to motivate each other.
My big plans consist of…WORK! Brilliant…I’m so excited, I do love coursework and revising and lab reports :/

Those burgers look lovely
