Today has been a really fun day! It was really nice to have some mid-week fun with the dear husband. We did an exercise dvd, worked on our crow and headstand poses and then braved the streets for a trip to the grocery store. Before we headed out, I made a snack plate for lunch.

Fresh carrots with a few Mary’s Crackers and a healthy portion of lemon hummus.

I tell you, I love hummus. I eat it every day and seem to never tire of it. Today, I made another batch and threw in some zucchini for an extra boost of veggies and it turned out spectacular. Speaking of spectacular, how about my dinner?

I made “tacos” with red leaf lettuce, ground turkey seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano and lime juice along with a quick guacamole I whipped up with a perfectly ripe avocado.

On the agenda for the evening is a little reading and a cup of my new favorite tea. I’ll have to go back to work tomorrow, no doubt, and will probably be busy since I missed today so I better rest up!

I never tire of cereal, cantaloupe, and cucumbers. I could eat them every single day.
i never ever get tired of cheese. ever ever. that and water (as weird as that sounds)

I never tire of guacamole or sargento light string cheese. Or red wine. Or chocolate chips.
Actually, having a food blog means that I have to force myself to not eat the same exact things every day or I probably would.
