I’d be lying if I told you that I had more pumpkin oats for breakfast yesterday only because it was a snow day.

That would be a good reason, of course, since a steaming bowl of oats is the perfect food on a cold morning but the reality is, I just wanted to try this dark chocolate almond butter I received in my bloggie secret santa package.

Honestly, I think pumpkin oats are pretty flavorless and boring without the addition of fun toppings and what could be better than chocolate flavored nut butter? Not much.

Just look at that melty goodness. Snow day are fun.

What are some of your favorite snow day foods?

Dark choc almond? Never seen that before – but I love Maranatha! Favorite snow foods? – Hmm, the usual that I have haha. But warm foods are always comforting, tea/hot chocolate, PB, soup, chocolate
Nice pic!

For a snow day definitely vegetarian chili! I have never had peanut butter or almond butter in my oats, I’ll have to try that!

I’m obsessed with pumpkin oat bran. Custard style, which I learned from your old blog. Can’t start a day without it!!!
