In this day and age, the flavors of ice creams are endless but, to me, there is still something wonderful about regular ole vanilla. After tons of research about making ice cream, I have come up with a simple recipe that is sure to please. It would, and will :D, make a great base for other flavors but it delicious all on it’s own. My favorite way to eat vanilla ice cream is with a drizzle of chocolate syrup.

Simple Vanilla Ice Cream
Make about 1 Quart
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups half and half
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp vanilla paste (or the seeds from 1 vanilla bean)
pinch of sea salt
Stir together all of the ingredients in a large bowl, do not whip. Cover and refrdigerate for at least 2 hours, the longer it sits in the refriderator, the creamier the results will be. Once it is well chilled, give it a final stir and freeze according to the direction on your ice cream maker. When it is the desired texture, scoop it into a freezer safer container and freeze until ready to serve.

Vanilla is my ultimate FAV!!! Even as a child. So much you can do with it! Thanks for the recipe :)
Simple, pure, and beautiful. Love it. Especially with that drizzle of chocolate syrup. You drizzle the syrup, I would dump it on. haha :)
