Wow! What a process this has been! I seem to still be having some technical difficulties with feed settings and have a little more work to do on the site layout but overall, I am happy to be in my new home! **edited to add: There are still problems with my feed going to RSS readers. At this time, the only way to add it to your reader of choice is to click the RSS link in the upper right hand corner or at the bottom of the page.** Thanks to all of you for being patient through this process! I could not have made this leap without all of your support!!

But let’s get down to what you came here for :) Yesterday, I started the day with a bowl of overnight banana custard oat bran with flax seed. Ah, custard oat bran, you might ask. Once the oat bran was fully cooked, I added in a scrambled egg and then heated in for an additional 30 seconds. The results were nothing but stellar. The bran was rich and creamy and so filling, that I couldn’t finish my normal 1/3 cup serving. Though I did somehow eat all of the chocolate chips I topped it with ;)

For lunch, I had hummus, jack cheese and pepper on a whole grain sandwich thin

along with a HUGE salad with oil and vinegar.

Work was busy but I still made time for a snack in the late afternoon. I didn’t photograph it but for the record, it was Greek yogurt topped with berries and a 1/2 tbsp of chocolate chips!! So good! When I got home from work, I was anxious to get my new site open so the dear husband was kind enough to make his specialty, frozen pizza. This time, we had the Archer’s Farms buffalo mozzarella and roasted tomato variety. One of my favorites for sure.

I was so wrapped up in my blog that I didn’t even think to have a vegetable! All is well though because I am pretty sure that with that salad, I had at least 7 servings for the day :)

Question: How do you like the new blog? I really love the clean but funky layout and the beautiful colors!

Oooohh, pretty! I love the new format. I really like the combo of light aqua and dark brown.

Need to try that hummus and cheese combo, I’ve seen you post it a couple times.

I saw your comment on ‘Care to Eat’ about how you fixed your Google Reader problem…I’m having issues with it too. How did you get your blog to appear on Google Reader? I can’t seem to get mine on so people can subscribe! Grr. Thanks!
